The Youth Summer Conservatory was developed under the leadership of LATC Artistic Director and UCLA Professor Jose Luis Valenzuela, to create opportunities in theater arts for youth from under-served communities of Los Angeles and surrounding areas to experience and train in a university-like program. This intensive 4-week program integrates acting classes with rigorous physical training in voice, speech, movement, writing, improvisation and culminates in a final performance written and performed by conservatory students on stage at the Los Angeles Theatre Center.

Location: Los Angeles Theater Center in Downtown L.A.
