Public Relations + Marketing Intern
The LATC Marketing Department is seeking energetic, organized, and creative marketing Interns to join our team ASAP. This person(s) will be a vital part of the marketing team and gain extensive experience in marketing, sales, and design. This would be an opportunity to not only learn by doing but also network and build a trajectory as a professional marketer or communications consultant in the arts.
Listed below are examples of tasks and proficiencies we are looking for:
- Assist with event listings, all media outreach, event & program website postings
- Market research including consumer and trade magazines, social media, blogs, and other media outlets
- Evaluating advertising opportunities and partnerships
- Press Releases and product-related pieces to publish on website and e-newsletter and related industry sites
- Organizing and editing media
- Update all social network sites: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and the LATC blog
- Keep up to date with current innovations in social media and mobile web marketing
- Communication skills (in person, telephone, written)
- Innovation, able to maximize productivity with limited resources
- at home / mobile web use
- InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Video editing, and other new media applications
