Currently, the LATC is NOT accepting any unsolicited scripts. Limited staffing and an abundance of pending projects have led us to put literary management on hiatus for the time being. We appreciate your understanding.
General Submission Guidelines
The LATC is interested in previously un-produced, full-length plays that examine ALL under-represented cultures of Los Angeles. We are committed to celebrating both tradition and innovation in theater that comes from people telling their own stories and digging deep into their own traditions to address important issues of our days.
All works submitted will be considered for The LATC Emerging Playwrights Initiative, a development program geared towards nurturing new and emerging playwrights.
Playwrights may submit their work either through established agents or by first submitting a query letter, play synopsis, character breakdown, and statement of play’s development history, along with a 10-page dialogue sample and a self-addressed STAMPED envelope to:
514 S. Spring St.
Los Angeles, CA 90013
Playwright may include a current email address in lieu of SASE for response.
All submission materials will be recycled. If playwright wishes to have his/her materials returned to them, they should include a SASE the correct size and postage for their return.
**Please Note: Response time is approximately 2-3 months for query letters, 4-6 months for full scripts**
