The Latino Theater Company at Los Angeles Theatre Center congratulates its playwright-in-residence Evelina Fernandez on winning the Ted Schmitt Award. Bestowed by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle on the occasion of the World Premiere of an outstanding new play, Ms. Fernandez won the award for ‘A Mexican Trilogy,” three plays that follow a Mexican-American family in the U.S. over the span of 100 years. The Award is accompanied by an offer to publish by Samuel French, Inc.
